Job Scope and Responsibilities
1) Mechanical design work - Support project leaders on machinal design analyze, packaging design, container loading design.
2) Back Build and FAI – Sample making following up and installation.
3) Project activities on time deliveries - Working with project leaders for NPD or International projects as one of the project team members to provide deliveries as project plan.
4) Manufacturing Design - Significantly contributes to the determination of manufacturing design requirements by evaluating the supplier’s capability and resources. Responsible to make new product manufacturing process spec.
5) Project leadership under guideless of senior manager or project manager - Be responsible for project schedule, working with US team to create project plan for new product development and follows the milestones, determined by the projects needs and expectations.
6) ECR/ECN process – Initiating engineering change request when change is necessary, and following up deployment of ECN process
7) Involvement in Production - Supports manufacturing by evaluating and reporting on the pre-production and the start of mass production of new products, and the improvement of existing products.
8) Assist Quality Control – Support to Compliance, Logistic and Sourcing team by helping to identify engineering critical.
9) Communication - Effectively and appropriately communicate with all levels of the organization and supplier and make sure assigned tasks are finished as request.
10) Other assignment – Other temporary assignment by direct manager.

Requirements:
 Education: College degree on Mechanical or Engineering area. Bachelor degree will be a good plus.
 Language: Good on read and writing English. Capable on verbal communication as well.
 Software: Skillful on Solidworks, Auto-Cad.
 Personality: Conscientious, Hardworking, Strong willingness to learn.
 Industrialization Experiences: Furniture; Home appliance; Mechanical equipment and similar industry.
 Working experience: 2+ years’ experience on mechanical design.
 Traveling: Locate in Zhongshan, Guangdong of China. Being able to travel to the suppliers or its sub-factories which producing BYD products. Traveling frequency is around 1/5 of working time during hot season but it highly pending to the situation of the on-going production.
